At a very young age I was told by my grandfather Gene; "Make it don't buy it!" Those words stuck with me and taught me the importance of building things with your hands. I would spend hours per day working with my grandfather learning how to make handmade wood bowls or whatever I wanted to learn that involved wood working. Little did I know I would turn everything I was taught into a business. I enjoy creating something new and adding my touches to any project. The name DEERTRAIL DESIGNZ was inspired by my grandfather whom I sadly lost to cancer. I wanted to honor him by keeping his teachings and love for his craft alive! I am so grateful I was taught such a valuable skill that I will pass down to my children.
